Please don't bring propane tanks inside the store.
We inspect all tanks for certification date and condition before refilling.
If the tanks are not valid we are licensed to recertify the tanks at the location for a small fee.
Tanks that have a dent, excessive rust, missing collar or foot ring can not be filled by law.
All grill BBQ cylinders must be equipped with an Overfill Prevention Device (OPD valve).
If a tank is found leaking while filling we must keep the tank by law and can not release it back.
We purge new tanks. Purging is important as it prevents high internal pressure and opening of the safety valve.
Propane smells like a rotten egg, excessive smell might be a sign of leakage. Immediately turn the valve off and calle local fire department.
Transporting Propane tanks
Always keep your propane tanks upright and secure when transporting. Tanks should never be laid on the side.
Do Not leave the filled tank in the vehicle. Heat and motion can increase pressure to an unsafe level. This may cause the safety valve to vent propane gas and create a flammable, explosive environment.
Store and use propane cylinders only in well-ventilated areas and never bring a propane cylinder indoors.
